Mazô Maná - Amazon Rainforest Food

Project Proposal:

Mazô Maná proposes to scale an integrated initiative that combines the development of plant-based nutritional supplements made from 14 Amazonian ingredients, to conserve the rainforest and strengthen local economies. The project will expand partnerships with up to 10 traditional and Indigenous community-based organizations across 30 million hectares, implementing value chain solutions such as ingredient processing technologies, ESG monitoring systems, and capacity building. By aligning product innovation with environmental and social impact, he initiative aims to generate income, improve well-being, and promote forest-positive economic models in the Amazon.

Impact Measurement:

Premium pricing for local ingredients, equity sharing with communities, revenue generation from environmental services, technology implementation, and increased global consumption of Amazonian superfoods.
