LACLIMA is an institute whose mission is to research, develop, disseminate and implement climate knowledge and policies, supported by the lens of law, with a multidisciplinary approach; and in partnership with the AIC, published the guide on Responsible Investments in the Amazon.

Amazon Sacred Headwater Alliance launched a Bioregional Financing Facility with the BioFi Project, to co-design the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Fund, a bioregional grant-making vehicle and revolving loan facility.
Living School of the Amazon
Through the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance, the Living School of the Amazon has graduated 107 Indigenous youth in a 960-hour Indigenous and territorial leadership course.

Indigenous Land Titles
Rainforest Foundation US has been working to protect the Amazon rainforest in partnership with Indigenous peoples since our founding in 1988. Indigenous leaders traveled from remote rivers in Perú that feed into the Amazon to receive their titles in person.

Instituto Igarapé – Territorial and Legal Security Assessment
In collaboration with the Amazon Investor Coalition, Instituto Igarapé conducted an in-depth territorial and legal security assessment across the Brazilian and Colombian Amazon. This work examines the governance, regulatory, and security challenges facing public, private, and nonprofit actors operating in the region, offering critical insights to strengthen rule of law, reduce risk, and enable high-integrity investment and conservation efforts.
Quintessa Restoration ClimAccelerator
Amazon Investor Coalition supported Quientessa’s pioneering impact accelerator in Brazil, specializing in scaling businesses with environmental and social impact. In partnership with Climate KIC, the organization launched the Restoration ClimAccelerator, a program dedicated to fostering technological solutions that improve the efficiency, scalability, and financial viability of forest restoration in the Amazon.
Instituto Floresta Tropical
AIC supports Instituto Floresta Tropical, a Brazilian nonprofit with 30 years of expertise in sustainable forest management. As a leading organization in the training of professionals in the Amazon, it has already impacted over 10,000 individuals, from community forest managers to engineers and policymakers.
Agrosolidaria Florencia
AIC supports Agrosolidaria Florencia, a cooperative of 250 families in Caquetá, Colombia, including farmers, women, and youth affected by conflicts. Since 2010, the organization has preserved over 2,600 hectares of the Amazon rainforest through the production, processing, and commercialization of non-timber forest products (NTFPs).
Waorani Women Association from the Ecuadorian Amazon
AIC supports Asociación de Mujeres Waorani de la Amazonía Ecuatoriana, an Indigenous women-led organization representing Waorani communities in the Ecuadorian Amazon, advancing territorial protection, cultural preservation, and sustainable livelihoods for over 1,500 Waorani women through sustainable forest resource management and cultural preservation.
Metareilá Association of the Suruí people
This association protects Suruí territory, biodiversity, and indigenous autonomy through sustainable development and cultural preservation initiatives.
